Express vs Air Freight

Courier and bulk air freight both fly — but they are built for different shipments. Pick the right one to avoid overpaying.

Decision

When Express Makes Sense

Express courier wins on speed and simplicity for small, urgent loads — not on cost for bulk.

Use express courier when…

  • You need samples or replacement parts in days
  • Consignment is a single parcel under ~100kg
  • Door-to-door tracking matters more than per-kilo cost
  • You are testing a market before bulk shipping

Use bulk air freight when…

  • You ship 100kg or more on a regular schedule
  • Per-kilo cost is the priority
  • You need DDP, FBA delivery or customs handling
  • Cargo is palletised, oversize or consolidated
Partners

Courier Partners & Dedicated Lines

We work with the major global express carriers plus our own dedicated express lanes to the three corridors.

For courier shipments we access DHL, UPS and FedEx through corporate account rates, and we also operate dedicated express lines to Ukraine, Poland and the UK that combine carrier speed with better pricing for repeat senders. Goods are collected from your supplier (free across Shenzhen) or dropped to our nominated address, then dispatched the same day. Cups, accessories, small electronics, VRLA batteries and general samples are typical courier cargo — batteries only with correct DG paperwork.

Because courier pricing scales steeply with weight, most customers start with express for samples and pilot orders, then switch to our bulk air freight once volumes cross 100kg. We can manage both sides of that transition: the same account books your urgent parcels by courier and your regular replenishment by bulk air, with one point of contact and one consolidated monthly invoice. If you are unsure which lane a shipment belongs on, send us the weight and deadline and we will route it accordingly.

Compliance

Prohibited & Restricted Items

Compliance note: batteries, liquids, magnets and other sensitive goods move by courier only with correct classification and documentation under IATA DGR (UN38.3/MSDS/DG declaration). Prohibited items — including illegal drugs, weapons and counterfeit goods — are never accepted on any lane. See the what can I ship guide before sending.
